DaveStacker brought a large contingent of models to the Ace-In-The-Hole event this year. Among them were two GWS models of the ME-262. Nice flying models! The following photographs are the LAST taken of one of the ME-262's as it was lost. We found the plane and it was destroyed. I have a policy of NOT photographing wreckage unless the pilot/builder asks me to so there are no photos of that, however the LAST photograph in this group might interest some. It is a photograph of the IMPRINT the ME-262 made in the damp swamp ground when it hit!!
